Turn A New Leaf – Make Giving A Priority!
- October 15, 2011
Charitable giving continues to be a priority in 2011 at Clark Metal Products. Our employees raise money each month through raffles, charity lunches, and weekly $5 donations to wear jeans on Thursdays. The company matches the dollar amount raised by the employees, and that amount is donated to the designated charity of the month.
In July, Clark Metal Products donated $603.00 to Big Hearts Little Hands, a local organization that seeks to foster emotional, social, educational and cultural support for children ages six to sixteen in the Indiana County area. The American Diabetes Association received $865.22 in August to help further their research and support of those living with diabetes. In September, Access Abilities of Indiana County was given a donation of $820.00. Access Abilities offers home-based services for seniors, adults, and children with disabilities in our area. On September 24th a team of volunteers from Clark Metal Products participated in the Indiana County Heart Walk in support of the American Heart Association. In 2011, we have donated over $4,000 to the American Heart Association! During the last three months of 2011, Clark Metal Products is happy to support the Pittsburgh affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Indiana County Food Pantry, and Aging Services, Inc.
